HTC has launched a phone with a fingerprint scanner. HTC One Max's fingerprint scanner is placed at the back, just under the camera. Unlike the one on iPhone 5S, this fingerprint scanner can be used for more than just unlocking the phone. HTC says users can assign different applications to various fingers. For instance, users can configure the scanner to open the camera app when they use the left index finger and a browser with the right thumb.
